[ Donetsk Front + Analysis ] Both sides launch attacks along the frontline; Defense-in-Depth is DEEP
Breaking news from the Donetsk Front: Russia continue to push and put pressure on the Ukrainian defense at Marinka, Pobjeda and Novomykhailivka – something that Russia had been trying months, but to little progress.
Ukraine in return, launched their own offensives, in the area of Novomykhailivka, Slavne and Mykilske. However the attack reportedly also had bogged down by Russian artillery and the push stopped due to heavy casualties. The defense in depth deployed by both sides, especially on the Ukrainian side, is extremely hard to breakthrough (if not impossible).
We are unlikely to see much changes to the frontline until actions from other fronts spills into the rear of these frontlines.
