General Staff of Ukraine Armed Forces: Russia did not land in Odessa
General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the information about the landing of the Russian troops in Odessa is false.
The information is part of the press statement on UNIAN as they report on the Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
“Today, February 24, at 5:00, the armed forces of the Russian Federation began intensive shelling of our units in the east, and also inflicted missile and bomb strikes on airfields in Boryspil, Ozerne, Kulbakin, Chuhuiv, Kramatorsk, Chernobaivka, as well as on military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the aggressor began artillery shelling of the territory and settlements of Ukraine along the state border,”
“The defense forces of the state are in full combat readiness, have taken and are holding defensive positions. The situation is under control,”

According to the statement, Ukrainian Air Force had engaged and repelled Russian air attacks, while air bases and military facilities across Ukraine were hit. Artillery shelling are also confirmed along the border regions.
