This is a very popular myth about the Gaza strip, and it constantly brought up by the pro-Palestinian people, especially in the light of the Israeli-Hamas War – a “fact” that is weaponised in the information war between the two sides.

However, this is not true.

As a Singaporean, I literally know for a fact that Singapore is way more densely packed with people than Gaza strip. And it really painful when people kept saying this just to make a point that Israel is evil for bombing Gaza.

So lets us ask God GPT:

In fact, Singapore is so dense that Singapore is more densely populated than Hong Kong.

However, while I was love to take another “number 1” trophy for Singapore, but Singapore isnt even close to the top 10 more densely populated cities in the world.

So you might think, Gaza isnt a city, its a territory, so lets ask God GPT specifically about Gaza City alone:

And again, with 10.8k people per square kilometer, it still doesnt rank into the top 10 in the world.

I would call, the myth, busted.
