[ Kherson Offensive ] Massive Ukrainian attack thwarted after drone strikes on SAMs; Russia counter
Breaking news from the Kherson Front: According pro-Russian sources, Ukraine launched a major offensive towards the Dudchany-Mylove-Sukhanove line.
The attack starts with heavy bombardment from Ukrainian artillery firing from Petropavlivka, with fast moving mobile special forces troops leading the vanguard. They are then followed by mechanized and armor forces, which will take advantage of the penetrated lines created by the vanguard.
Russian forces responded with heavy artillery. While this happening, Russian drones were reportedly taking out Ukrainian SAM sites along the Inhulets River that were covering the attack. After the SAM sites were down, Russia attack aircrafts started taking out Ukrainian troops that were scattered by the artillery defense.
Russian forces counter attacked with infantry sweeping through forest belts while Russian air force continue their airstrikes on surviving Ukrainian forces and their initial position where the attacks were launched.
