[ Kupyansk Front ] Russia launches counteroffensive towards Dvorichna; capturing Horobivka
Breaking news from the Kupyansk Front: Russia have launched a counteroffensive from Tavilzhanka towards Dvorichna direction and had successfully captured Horobivka after days of softening the Ukrainian forces in the region via artillery and airstrikes.
Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported fighting at Dvorichna (which is likely to just mean the entire region east of the city across the river) and shelling at Hryanykivka. Russian forces is now attacking the small bridgehead at Dvorichne.
The likely objective is to eventually cut off the route of communications at Kupyansk after swinging south, either towards Synkivka or from Dvorichna after capturing the city on the west bank of the Oskil River.
