Looking back at 1 year of DPA Ukraine War coverage
Its been whirlwind few days, as DPA commemorates one full year of war in Ukraine (unfortunately) with 2 massive panels:
Super Panel with Scott Ritter, HistoryLegends & Sanya Florida – an extreme privilege to be able to invite people of such high profile, especially for Scott and Sanya to be on the panel.
And then the LIVE Super Panel, with fellow neutral mapping-reporters of the Ukraine War, that just concluded, with SuriyakMaps, WeebUnion, THETI Mappings, NWE War Reports + HistoryLegends
Defense Politics Asia‘s youtube channel had come a long way from just 20 subscribers at the start of the war on Day 1 (one year ago), to now, a decent 56.7k sub channel + multiple sub channels.
Website traffic had also went from less than 100 users visits per day, to now over a thousand users per day (with over 3000 visits per day for most part when the mapping was not hidden behind paywall.
Patreons + Ko-Fi memberships also went from zero after the revamped to now, over 150 paying supporters to contribute to the continue coverage of the Ukraine War.
Similar exponential growth is seen on Twitter, where DPA’s following was merely 200+, to now 19.5k followers. Facebook followers also doubled. Instagram from 91 to now 649 followers.
And we are just getting started.
