[ Lyman Front ] Russian counteroffensive towards Krasnyi Liman; captured Terny, Novosadove & Torske!
Breaking news from the Lyman Front (or Kreminna Front): Russian forces that had been attacking Terny for the past 2 days, finally broke through the stubborn Ukrainian defense and had captured Terny.
Apparently, the fighting at Terny reported by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry over the past 2 days was actually a much bigger counteroffensive by the Russian forces, as the latest intel suggest that the Russians had also captured Novosadove (north of Terny) and the strategically important town of Torske (that sits between Lyman and Kreminna).
It is unclear at the moment if the Russian forces also captured Yampolivka which is between Terny and Torske. What is clear however, is that the Russian forces are now in striking distance of Zarichne, and the prospect of recapturing Lyman is now within sight.
