Singapore removing most COVID-19 restrictions; no Covid tests needed for vaccinated tourists

From 26 April 2022 onwards, Singapore will return to near-normal life as the government announced the relaxation of almost all COVID-19 restrictions – with only mask-wearing in indoor environment and public transport being retained.

The Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level, will be lowered from ORANGE to YELLOW, for the first time since 7 February 2020.

Companies can now allow 100% of employees to return to office, no more group size limits and social distancing is no longer required. All sports will also be allowed to resume to pre-pandemic times.

93% of the population are fully vaccinated, amongst the highest in the world, had reached herd-immunity after a massive spike in cases due to the Omicron wave over the past few months.

Vaccinated tourists can enter Singapore without any pre-travel COVID tests and will not be subjected to testing as well when they enter Singapore. Unvaccinated tourists/travellers however will still be required to take the test 2 days before departure for the Lion City.
