Starbucks shortage: Menu options such as oat milk and other items in short supply

Snagging your favorite Starbucks treat might be more difficult because of shortages involving ingredients such as oat milk. When you open the Starbucks app, you’ll see a message warning of the absence of some menu options. “Due to current supply shortages, some of your favorites may be temporarily out of stock,” it reads.

In a statement emailed to USA TODAY, Starbucks spokesperson Sanja Gould confirmed shortages will vary by store or market. The nondairy oat milk option was temporarily pulled from some Starbucks stores, and drinks with oat milk will not be available until the company is able to restock.
