[ Bakhmut Front ] Russia forces reached NW outskirt of Berkhivka, closed west flank of Paraskoviivka

Update from Bakhmut Front: Fighting reported NW outskirt of Berkhivka, signalling that the Russian forces had crossed the Slovyansk–Bakhmut highway and proceeded south of the west Blahodatne salient.

With this development plus the Russian control of the road junction of the highway to Bakhmut, means the Ukrainian defenders at Paraskoviivka are now at risk of encirclement. Which means, Ukrainian withdrawal from the town is now very likely.

Russian forces also seemed to have overran the entrenchment west of Soledar. Fighting is reported towards Zaliznyanske, Vasyukivka, Fedorivka, Rozdolivka and east of Rozdolivka.
