KUPYANSK FRONT

KUPYANSK FRONT

Russian forces made progress north of Novoyehorivka, which is a high ground over looking the town.

BAKHMUT FRONT

Russian forces reentered the NW parts of Novy neighborhood of Chasiv Yar. However, a later geolocation of thermobaric shelling at a nearby location made the “capture” uncertain.

So it will be rated as a grayzone/overlapping mapping for now.

AVDIIVKA FRONT

Ukrainian forces seemed to retreated entirely from Arkhanhelske or routed from the region, with the Russian force making a 2.5km deep progress from Novokalynove and Keramik into Arkhanhelske.

This is reported by Ukrainian mapping (DeepStateUA).

This latest development means most than half of Arkhanhelske falls to the Russian forces. As such, it is projected that the settlement will fall entirely to the Russians within 24-48 hours.

It is unclear if the Ukrainian forces will continue to hold the position at the heavy fortification on the western outskirt of the town.

Russian forces also contiune to expand their zone of control just off Novooleksandrivka.

The comparatively slower progress may suggest more resistance on this side of the frontline as compared to the Arkhanhelske side.

Latest geolocation near Soloviove confirms Russian forces is now attacking towards Sokil, and again, making huge progress in the process.

Around Sokil are many heavy fortifications (based on OSINT mapping works), with one of the major one, built pre-war.

As such, Russian progress is expected to slow down in this direction, should the Ukrainians decided to stay and fight.

The geolocation also invalidated Ukrainian mappings where a lot of the surrounding regions around Ocheretyne was mapped as grey zone on their mappings. It should be now firmly under Russian control.

Russian forces also expanded control in the south of Pervomaiske, with slight increase in the controlled territory.

Ukrainian forces in the area likely fought extremely well and had been resilient, resulting in extremely slow progress for the Russians despite the semi encirclement that had developed in this region.

DONETSK FRONT

DONETSK FRONT

After the day’s before’s report on Ukrainian counter attack that had retaken at least one building in the southern parts of Urozhaine, Russian forces responded with a massive offensive that conquered the entire southern outskirt of Urozhaine.

This attack, mapped by DeepStateUA (Ukrainian OSINT), also indicates that Russian forces have now a firmed foothold on the south of Urozhaine, which would allow the Russian forces to launch assault operations to retake the settlement that was lost during the Ukrainian 2023 Counteroffensive.

It is important to note that, Russian forces had been heavily bombarding Urozhaine, and the sister town, Staromaiorske with artillery, airstrikes and thermobaric missile strikes endlessly for months and months prior to this latest development.

Ukrainian presence in the town is likely to be very very soft now, give all this softening….
