[ Analysis ] Siversk Front at risk in major pincer, as Russia attacks Vasyukivka and Serebryanka

Update from the Bakhmut Front: Russian forces reportedly made huge advance towards Vasyukivka, a move that threatens to cut off the entire southern resupply route/road that feeds the entire of Siversk Front.

If it cuts, the Ukrainian forces at Siversk Front can only depend on the roads in the north, via Zakitne and along the river towards Kalenyky.

However the perils are not just in the south: Russian forces are also attacking Serebryanka and Hryhorivka concurrently. The fall of either town would encircle any Ukrainian defenders currently holding out at Bilohorivka in Luhansk region.

The collapse of Serebryanka and Hryhorivka would also cut off the pontoon crossing that is currently sitting around Serebryanka region, which is absolutely vital for the ongoing Ukrainian offensives in the Kreminna region in the Serebranyske Forestry.

Fighting currently is also reported at Krasnopolivka, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Spirne, Verkhnokamyanske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk).
