HAMAS CONTINUES COMBINED ARMS OPERATIONS; Massive Israeli airstrikes – Israel-Hamas War SITREP Day 2
Overall Situation in Israel-Palestine (Gaza region):
Hamas forces continue their military operation against Israel, and tentatively, Israel’s ground base counterattack had not materialized just yet.
Israel is still regroup and mobilizing, holding porous lines quite a distance from Gaza.
Hamas airborne forces strikes again in the region of Netivot while bombardment via rocket fire seemed to concentrate more in the north and northeast border region of Gaza.
Hamas forces are also pushing in the southern regions while sending more commandos / raiding units in the north.
Day 2 Overall Situation in Israel-Palestine (non-Gaza region):
In the West Bank, the trend of shootings continues with most of the incidents reported north and south of Jerusalem, as well as in the Jenin region (mostly along checkpoints/crossings)
Hype about Hezbollah entering the conflict is just fluff.
Hezbollah conducted some fire mission via ATGM/Mortar against Israeli military positions along the Lebanon-Israeli border, particularly north of Hurfesh and near Mount Hermon.
Probably just to “show solidarity” and not a sincere attempt to actually open a new front.
