KREMINNA FRONT
Ukrainian forces counterattacked SE of Yampolivka retaking previously held treeline/position from the Russians. Confirmed by geolocation.
BAKHMUT FRONT
After more than week or two of rumor of Russian forces reaching the canal at the Bakhmut Front, we finally have geolocation confirming Russian presence at the edge of the forest next to the canal.
Rumor has it that the Russian forces had crossed the canal onto the other side.
If Russian forces succeed to progress quickly through the forest on the western side of the canal, defensive operation of Chasiv Yar would be severely complicated.
AVDIIVKA FRONT
Mapping from Ukrainian sources (DeepStateUA) confirmed the Russian capture of Novokalynove and Keramik.
Russian forces also attacked west of Novokalynove successfully, straightening the frontline between Ocheretyne and Novokalynove.
Battle is currently likely to be waged for the heavy fortification west of Novokalynove. But with the fall of Keramik, this defensive position that is supposed to cover the southern approach to Arkhanhelske is now rendered invalid.
DPA reckon that the entrenchment will be abandoned very soon to avoid encirclement.
Russian forces also, as predicted/analyzed by DPA, went for the area with lesser/no fortifications, east of Novooleksandrivka, expanding control across a few treelines.
If the Russian forces continue northward, they would potentially mess up Ukrainian’s defense plan in the heavy fortified region (which I call the Citadel of Arkhanhelske-Kalynove in the SITREP), by flanking west of the citadel, threatening an encirclement and drive the Ukrainians into a withdrawal.
More in the SITREP (will be available here: https://youtu.be/a_hcfUoRZGA)
Ukrainian sources corroborates Russian reports of Russian expansion of the zone of control around Soloviove at the Avdiivka Front.
DONETSK FRONT
Ukrainian sources continue to assert that the Ukrainian detain control of a tree line north of Mykilske long long after a geolocation had marked Russian presence/control at that location.
As such, the overlapping between the Russian and Ukrainian mapping will be established to mark it as a grey zone.
Ukrainian forces counter attacked in the south of Urozhaine, retaking at least one of the building that was previously captured by the Russian forces.
Russian forces likely had abandoned their positions in the southern areas of Urozhaine due to Ukrainian bombardments and the inability to stay entrenched at the position – probably withdrawn to safer lines.
