Apple Daily published it’s final issue

Hong Kong’s Apple Daily published it’s final issue – a million copies of the last print.
#Hongkongers rushed overnight to buy the very last issue of the 26 years old tabloid-type newspaper.

Apple Daily is forced to close down after their bank accounts were frozen by the Hongkong government for infringing the Beijing-enacted National Security Law, which allegedly called for sanctions against Beijing and Hong Kong government.
The paper’s office were raided by around 500 police officers a week ago, right after the arrest of 5 executives.

Perhaps this is what the death of democracy looks like.
