Ukraine Frontline Changes Report – Day 722, 15 Feb 2024
In the northern fronts of the Battle of Avdiivka, Russian forces head both west and south from the breakthrough west of Avdiivka city, in the direction of Lastochkyne and the final dirt road out of the city.
Russian forces also pushed north from the entry point of the Lastochkyne road into the Avdiivka City, into the southern part of the Avdiivka Coke Plant.
In the northwest of that position, Russian forces take all the ground east of the railway line that leads south to Avdiivka train station.
The Russian forces in the north part of the city also attack southwards towards the center of the city, and had reach the outskirt of the Avdiivka train station. While another push is happening along the lake east of all these above mentioned actions.

In the southern front of the Battle of Avdiivka, Russian pincer closed and the Ukrainian mapping conceded the entire encirclement as Russian capture.
This come after footage of Russian soldiers in relax posture waving their flag at the drone taking the footage at the “Zenit” former Air Defense Base.
This effective lines up the entire south flank of the Avdiivka Front from the north of Optyne, to the southern neighborhood of Avdiivka City that is captured previously.

On the eastern front of the Battle of Avdiivka, Ukrainian forces abandoned their position at the Donetsk Filtration Station.
This is an unavoidable decision, as this is probably the most deepest point / eastern most point of the developing envelopment of the entire Avdiivka City.
Russian forces take the plant, most probably without a fight.
But it would probably be a very long and treacherous walk out to safety.
